Teenagers are my jam! I’ve been in youth ministry for over 20 years, 7+ of those with Union Church of Manila, where I first got connected with KIM. My heart is for discipleship and leader development in Gods kingdom by helping youth understand and embrace their identity in Christ. God is calling me to serve alongside youth leaders, particularly in Tondo and Tacloban, to encourage and empower youth who are unschooled/underesourced for school by providing practical skills and training.

We are also leading the Life Skills Mentorship Program, an after care service for teenagers that aims to prepare them to face life’s opportunities and challenges outside the children’s home. Joy and Art are transitioning from a church pastoral ministry to be a missionary at KIDS. God changed Joy's strong desire to practice nursing abroad to care for the women at Hope Alive Clinic. Billy and Sharon Wark oversee the ministry of Children’s Garden of the Philippines. Children’s Garden is a home for boys ages 12 -18+ who were abandoned, neglected, orphaned, or abused. We work to build young men while also seeking to reconcile them with their families when possible. Billy is a registered nurse by profession and visited KIM in 2011 while traveling on a 11 month mission trip called The World Race. Sharon helped in the reestablishment of Children’s Garden in 2006 and has been serving there ever since. During Billy’s visit they connected and 4 years later they married. They are happily married, a father and mother to MANY, and “living the dream” as they invest in lives of young men for the glory of Christ
