AN APPEAL

I came to know and received the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior when I was 13 years old, since then my life became more meaningful. I became the youngest church choir member and the youngest “Gospel Ambassador” performing evangelistic concerts with selected gospel team members, participating in Christian film showing, and evangelistic crusades. It was during that time that becoming a missionary was born in my heart. After finishing high school, I went directly to a Seminary (Baptist Bible Seminary and Institute) in Taytay Rizal, Philippines where I graduated with Bachelor of Religious Education (BRE) degree and became a young Pastor. Surprisingly, while working as a Pastor for 28 years, I often have the feeling of emptiness and void inside, it seems that I missed to discern something very important to me.

Many opportunities came and passed, and God redirected my life and led me to work at Kids International Ministry (KIM), Philippines and I realized that for more than two years working as a feeding coordinator at KIM, God is preparing, molding, making me a person that He wants me to be. Answering God’s call to be a full-time Missionary is now giving me a sense of completeness, happiness, and fulfillment. I know the road ahead of me is not easy, but I know God is with me and leading me the way.

Lea (my wife) and I will start embarking into this venture of faith on the second quarter of 2021. By then, we will become a gift or support dependent workers. We trust God that He would give us more friends and people who loves to team-up with us by way of supporting us financially and in prayer.

Thus, we consider you to stand side by side with us. Would you consider in prayer supporting us financially?

If the Lord moves you to do so, please give us a call on this number 09475105748 or a message in my FB account (Arvin Barros).

May the Lord continue to bless you to be a blessing for the sake of the gospel.

Sincerely in Christ,

Arvin Barros
